International art fair and the longest running worldwide art exhibition
Art Cologne is an important art fair for international art galleries displaying art from the 20th and 21st centuries. The fair started back in 1967 and has now achieved worldwide status resulting in around 200 commercial galleries meeting up every spring in Cologne. The show displays the work of more than 2,000 artists.
Names listed on the exhibitors’ lists for 2018 are: David Zwirner, Gagosian, Hauser + Wirth, Lisson, Thaddaeus Ropac, White Cube, Kamel Mennour, Pearl Lam, nächst St Stephan and Gio Marconi as well as leading German galleries such as Sprüth Magers, Michael Werner, Gisela Capitain, Karsten Greve, Daniel Buchholz, Max Hetzler, Konrad Fischer, Eigen + Art, Nagel Draxler, NEU as well as König Gallery. New galleries participating for the first time or returning galleries include Lisson Gallery from London / New York, Kamel Mennour from Paris/London, Gio Marconi from Milan, Buchmann from Berlin/Lugano, CLEARING from Brussels/New York, Jerome Poggi from Paris, Berg Contemporary from Reykjavík, Erika Deak from Budapest, Nanzuka from Tokyo and Zilberman from Istanbul/Berlin.
